Dear Friend, 

The Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia has mounted numerous stellar exhibitions and has a growing permanent collection, now holding more than 780 artworks by Georgia artists. 

In 2012 MOCA GA will mount its 100th exhibition and celebrate its first ten years of exhibitions! In addition to its exhibitions, MOCA GA, the only institution that solely supports Georgia art and artists, also provides the Working Artist Project, Café MOCA, ArtMERGE and the Education/Resource Center, programming designed for the education and enjoyment of the entire community. 

MOCA GA will continue the Working Artist Project, a program which expands the Museum's mission by supporting three visual artists of merit for a year through a stipend, exhibition, studio assistant and full color catalogue. As Georgia's schools are cutting arts programs, Café MOCA, an educational networking program for high school visual arts students, is needed now more than ever. ArtMERGE is the Museum's series of outings that brings MOCA GA members and friends to art spaces throughout the city. MOCA GA's Education/Resource Center continues to be a keystone of its educational programs, housing a growing archive collection and an art library; it is an unduplicated major resource of Historical art information.
