As we come to the close of the 10th year since we opened our doors in 2002, we reflect on all the hard work and support from individuals like you which helped bring this Museum to fruition. Together we have not only created a brand new museum, but nurtured it through good times and tough times. Today it is a vital and unique institution that contributes greatly to the Atlanta cultural landscape.

In addition to creating an art museum to support artists and to bring them together with the public at large, we are especially proud of the following accomplishments:  our permanent collection has more than tripled, we have presented 104 exhibitions, and the Education/Resource Center is bursting at the seams with vital documents chronicling the history of the arts in Georgia.  MOCA GA’s programming is unique with its Working Artist Project now boasting 15 fellows, the annual Pin Up Show is open to all Georgia artists including college students around the state, our ArtMERGE takes our fast-growing membership to other exciting venues in Atlanta, and our volunteer and internship programs have given many individuals the opportunity to learn about art and the inner workings of an art museum.

None of this could have happened without help from individual supporters like you. For this we are very grateful.  MOCA GA’s Annual Fund is the backbone for contributions from our private donors.  Even in the downturn of the economy, this fund has continued to grow steadily over the years and is a major source of income that supports general operating and sustains our programs and exhibitions as well as our operations.  Without a successful Annual Fund Campaign, we would not be able to continue the important work that we do.
