Robert Sherer

b. February 25, 1957 in Jasper, Alabama
Robert Sherer studied drawing, printmaking and painting at Walker College, Atlanta College of Art, Georgia State University, and Rhode Island School of Design. He received his MFA from Edinboro University in PA. Sherer has exhibited nationally and internationally for more than 30 years. In 2001, Sherer represented the USA in the Florence Biennale in Florence, Italy and in 2002, he represented the USA in the Triennale de Paris in Paris, France. The artist is currently an instructor at Kennesaw State University and regularly exhibits across the nation and in Europe. Sherer was recently added to the MOCA GA permanent collection.
