Pat Courtney received her BFA and MFA from the University of Georgia in Athens, GA. Courtney has had solo exhibitions throughout the eastern United States including Printed Matter Bookstore, New York City, NY; Sandler Hudson Gallery, Atlanta, GA; and Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art, Winston-Salem, NC. She has received numerous awards including an Artist Fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts, in 1989 and the Mayor’s Fellowship in the Visual Arts, Bureau of Cultural Affairs, Atlanta, GA in 1988.
