Nene Humphrey

b. March 1947 in Portage, Wisconsin

Nene Humphrey is a sculptor, drawer, and printmaker. She received her MFA from York University in Toronto, Canada; her MA from Goddard College in Boston, MA; and her BA from St. Mary's College in Notre Dame, IN. Selected solo exhibition sites include: Mississippi Museum of Art, Jackson, MS; Sandler Hudson Gallery, Atlanta, GA; Kiang Gallery, Atlanta, GA; Ogden Museum, New Orleans, LA; Breneau University, Gainsville, GA; and Colorado University Art Galleries, Boulder, CO. Her most recent solo exhibition was “Circling the Center”, a collaborative project with Roberto Lange and Matthew Mascott, exhibited at both the Pinnacle Gallery at Savannah College of Art & Design in Savannah, GA and the Sharidan Art Gallery at the University of Pennsylvania in Kutztown, PA.
