Lisa Tuttle

b. September 1951 in Little Rock, Arkansas

Lisa Tuttle is an artist and arts administrator living in Atlanta.  She has received numerous awards - two Southern Arts Federation/ NEA Regional Fellowships for Visual Artists - in 1991 for sculpture and in 1995 for photography. In 2003 she received a travel fellowship to Belgium from the King Baudouin Foundation- US.  In 2002, she completed an artist residency at Caversham Press in South Africa. She has also been a resident artist at the Hambidge Center three times (1992, 1993, and 2001).  In 2007 she completed a community-based public art commission, “The Seedling Project” for the City of Atlanta’s Dunbar Neighborhood Center in Mechanicsville. Tuttle’s work is included in the MOCA GA permanent collection.
