Kevin Cole

b. January 1960 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas

Kevin Cole is an Atlanta artist and educator. He received his BS from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, his MA in Art Education from the University of Illinois at Urbana, and his MFA from Northern Illinois University. To date, Cole has received more than 100 grants, fellowships, awards in art, and teaching awards combined. He has also been included in over 450 exhibitions. Cole’s work is held in over 1,000 public, private, and corporate collections including the Smithsonian Museum, Washington DC; William Jefferson Library, Little Rock, AR; Yale University Museum, Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, Arkansas Art Center, Little Rock, AR; MOCA GA, Atlanta; the Odgen Museum of Southern Art, New Orleans, LA; IBM Corporation, New York, NY;  Alston & Bird Atlanta, GA; King & Spaulding, Atlanta, GA; and Michael Jordan.
