Deanna Sirlin is an Atlanta-based painter and installation artist. Her large-scale, site-specific installations are based on her paintings and drawings. Sirlin's art has been shown all over the world as installations that cover the facades of buildings in Venezia, Atlanta, and New Orleans. She has shown her work in Biennials in China and had solo exhibitions in London and Antalya, Turkey. Sirlin's work has been written about in The London Telegraph Sunday Magazine, Art in America, International Art News, Art Papers Magazine, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Atlanta Magazine, Digital Art, Southern Living Magazine, Sculpture Magazine, Catalyst Magazine, and Flavourpill Magazine/London. Sirlin's work is in the permanent collections of the High Museum of Art, MOCA GA, Kunsthaus Nuremberg in Germany, University Ca Foscari Venezia, Shenzhen Art Institute, PR China, and corporations such as General Electric, Georgia Pacific, and United Airlines. |
