Bobby Abrahamson

b. 1966 in Atlanta, Georgia

Bobby Abrahamson is a photographer who received his MA in Media Studies from New School University and a BA in History from the University of Georgia in Athens, GA. He has taught photography at a number of schools and colleges. His photographs have seen in national publications including, TIME, FORTUNE, US News & World Report, The New York Times, and The Atlanta Journal & Constitution. Selected solo exhibitions include: "Rabbit" at Newspace Center for Photography, Portland, OR; "Shifting Perspectives" at MOCA GA; "One Summer Across America" at the Atlanta Photography Center; and "From My Car Window" at The Upstairs Gallery, Atlanta & Athens, GA. Abrahamson’s work is included in the following selected collections: Portland Museum of Art; Museum of Contemporary Art Belgrade, Serbia and Montenegro; Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP, Atlanta, GA; Numerous private collections.
