Barbara Schreiber explores a world gone awry through drawings and paintings that appears light-hearted at first glance but often have disturbing undertones. Schreiber was born in Baltimore, attended the Atlanta College of Art, and graduated magna cum laude from the Maryland Institute College of Art. Schreiber has exhibited her work at the High Museum of Art, Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art, Weatherspoon Art Museum, the Atlanta Contemporary Art Center, MOCA GA, McColl Center for Visual Art, Telfair Museum of Art, American Academy and Institute of Arts and Letters, the Sorbonne and numerous other venues. Included in numerous public and private collections, Schreiber also has work in the MOCA GA permanent collection. |
