I.  DONATE ART

If you are a collector of "closet art," we need your help. Have you ever purchased a piece of art that never saw the light of day? Somewhere in your home is there a drawing, painting, or art photograph that seemed like a good idea at purchase but has since lived most of its art life in your closet or basement attic? Perhaps your tastes changed or your walls are too full to accommodate every piece you have? 

Please consider donating that piece and others to The Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia (MOCA GA) for our Art for Everyone: Uncurated Silent Art Auction & Party. We call it "Art for Everyone" because this is a terrific way to make fine art interesting and affordable to a new generation of collectors. MOCA GA will resell your donated art in a silent auction that is the cornerstone of the evening. Your closet art will not only see the light of day, it will party by the glow of night on the walls of the Terminus 100 Building. All proceeds will benefit MOCA GA's efforts to expand its world-class platform for the best contemporary Georgia artists. 

Donate art by filling in a donation form for each piece of art you wish to donate and drop off your artwork at MOCA GA from 10am-5pm, Tuesday-Saturday, by no later than Saturday, September 11th.

Please join us for year three of our wildly popular ART FOR EVERYONE.  This year the event will be held off-site at the Terminus 100 Building on Peachtree Road. Provenance of the artwork up for bidding is traced to the collections of friends and supporters of MOCA GA, who are donating some exceptionally fine art, lots of good and sometimes fun art, a few crafts, sculpture and photography. Hors d’oeuvres will be served and the wine will flow as guests circulate throughout Wilmington Trust’s offices on the 27th floor and catch intriguing glimpses of the Atlanta skyline while viewing a fascinating array of art, all to be won at surprisingly low prices. Although bidding for almost all works will begin at $50, be prepared for the price of some pieces to skyrocket.  Savvy collectors won't want to miss an opportunity to purchase works by a really fascinating array of artists!
